As part of the Public Safety Analysis and Blueprint, Carroll Buracker and Associates, Inc. utilized computer modeling in five of the major public housing developments in Chicago. The Taylor Homes "Sub-Unit" reflects an illustration of crime prevention through environmental design (CPTED), access control, improved lighting, fencing, closed circuit television, play areas for children, recreation areas for teenagers, and controlled parking.
